Highlight Four: Accelerating the Upgrade and Renovation of Aging Equipment
A total of RMB 4.25 million has been invested to systematically retire and replace 157 units of outdated equipment, including old CNC lathes, lens-base molds, evaporative air coolers, refrigerant dryers, and air-conditioning systems. Through this equipment upgrade and replacement, annual electricity consumption is reduced by approximately 4 million kWh, carbon emissions are cut by about 1,200 tonnes, and both production efficiency and the level of green development are simultaneously enhanced.
Highlight 5: Upgrading the Wastewater Treatment Pond to Strengthen Environmental Protection Management
An investment of RMB 1.57 million was made to comprehensively upgrade and renovate the company’s wastewater treatment ponds, accompanied by the installation of an online wastewater monitoring system to enable precise control over wastewater discharge. Following the completion of the renovation, wastewater discharge was significantly reduced, with chemical oxygen demand (COD) emissions decreasing by approximately 45.63 tonnes and ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) emissions decreasing by approximately 0.0169 tonnes, thereby effectively safeguarding the ecological environment.
Highlight 6: Optimizing exhaust gas treatment facilities to reduce emissions
An investment of RMB 180,000 has been made to upgrade and retrofit the workshop’s exhaust gas treatment facilities, with a primary focus on enhancing their air purification and treatment capacity. Upon completion of the project, annual emissions of sulfuric acid mist will be reduced by approximately 0.03 tonnes, thereby achieving green, environmentally friendly, low-carbon production and emission reductions.
